The Ethics of Sustainability

Emeritus Professor Roland Clift CBE (Founding Director, Centre for Environmental Strategy, University of Surrey, UK) and Dr Simon Longstaff (Executive Director, St James Ethics Centre) engaged in a lively conversation about the real issues around ethics and sustainability in the UTS Chancellery on Thursday 17 March 2011.
The Institute's Professor Cynthia Mitchell introduced the speakers and started the discussion which was followed by a Q&A with the invited audience. The conversation explored the relationship between ethics and sustainability, and what it means for businesses, for universities and professions, and for each of us in our day to day endeavours.
