Biography
The Principal Consultant of Aid-IT Solutions Pty Ltd, Dr Paul Crawford, holds a Bachelor of Rural Science, a Master of Business Administration and a Doctorate of Philosophy from ISF in the field of aid monitoring and evaluation. He has over twelve years management and consulting experience within international development and humanitarian aid organisations in more than 35 countries throughout Africa, Asia, the Pacific, the Balkans, the Middle East and the former Soviet Union. He has held a range of positions within international NGO operations including Project Manager, Program Director, M&E Officer and Country Director; and he has provided consultancy services including evaluations, M&E system design and review, needs assessments, project design and appraisal. Clients have included prominent international NGOs (Oxfam, World Vision, IFRC, ADRA, Child Fund), commercial aid contractors, bilateral donors and multilateral agencies. He is a member of the Graduate Management Association, the Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP) and Registered Engineers in Disaster Response (Red-R UK). He was decorated with the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal of Australia (HOSM) for work in Rwanda during the 1994 humanitarian crisis, and has been awarded certificates of appreciation by the Government of Australia on two occasions for his contribution to sustainable development and poverty reduction.
