Dr Louise McWhinnie, Associate Dean, Teaching & Learning attended the Australian Learning & Teaching Council annual presentation ceremony on Tuesday evening where she was awarded with a citation for "an outstanding contribution to Australian university teaching & learning" and a cheque for $10,000.

UTS and NSW Government to fight crime through design

In a first for New South Wales, UTS’s Designing Out Crime Research Centre will help reduce and prevent crime through the design of products, buildings and environments. The three year project has received over $1 million funding from both the Attorney General’s Office and UTS.
