Call for papers: UTS: Sydney International Animation Festival Symposium - Animation Histories and Futures

As part of the 2010 UTS: Sydney International Animation Festival, a symposium will be held to explore animation’s contemporary expansion. To be held at the University of Technology, Sydney on Friday 24 September, entries are now being accepted.

Films For a Career in Architecture and Construction

The UTS Equity and Diversity Unit has funded a major project designed to encourage women to study and work in fields where they are statistically under-represented, including Architecture and Construction.
The result is a suite of six short films, constructed from interviews with a range of prominent, interesting and articulate practitioners working in the Built Environment professions.

Dual book launch for Architecture academics

Dr Charles Rice and Anthony Burke both from Architecture will host a dual launch to celebrate the recent publication of their books, "Emergence of the Interior: Architecture, Modernity, Domesticity" by Dr Rice and "Network Practices: New Strategies in Architecture and Design" an collection of essays co-edited by Anthony Burke.

ARC industrly linkage grant win for DAB
