Biography
Andrew joined the School of Finance and Economics in 1983 coming directly from merchant banking. Professionally, he has been a portfolio and investment manager with Bankers Trust (BT) Australia Ltd. His responsibilities included: manager of superannuation and pension funds; share and fixed interest dealer; financial research analyst. This professional practitioner's position helped provide valuable insight and background for financial business training and its application in practice.
Andrew has been actively lecturing in the undergraduate and postgraduate level and the recognition of his expertise has been reflected in his continual successful engagement as a specialist business education seminar leader with a large number of private and government organisations. He has successfully conducted business education training programmes for private and public sector clients throughout Australia and overseas.

Corporate financial statement analysis, financial management, corporate finance, investment analysis and portfolio management, international finance, corporate treasury management.

Risk management in forwards, futures, swaps, options; hedging in foreign exchange markets; international investment and financing decisions; financial statement analysis, ratios, bond rating, financial distress analysis.
