Biography
Susan Thorp holds a PhD in economics (University of New South Wales, 2005). Since joining UTS in 2005, she has taught econometrics and time series to undergraduate and honours students. Susan’s research interests include long-horizon wealth management, with particular focus on retirement savings and pensions, and financial econometrics. She has publications in a number of international finance and economics journals in including the Journal of Financial Research, Insurance: Mathematics and Economics, the Economic Record and the Journal of Pension Economics and Finance. Susan is currently senior lecturer in the School of Finance and Economics.
